When will the Vacuum Cannon kit be available?

Kits are currently in stock! If kits are out of stock, don't worry as more are on the way. Please click the "Join Waitlist" button on the Purchase page which will secure your spot in line. An email will be sent out when kits are available.

You may purchase just the Teacher's Guide (PDF) and decide at a later time to purchase the Vacuum Cannon kit. If you do, the cost of the kit will be reduced by the cost of the Teacher's Guide.

Question 2

Our school has a procurement system and can't directly purchase from the site using a credit card. How do we register Austin Education LLC to our procurement system?

Many schools are tending toward centralized procurement systems. Please submit a request to your procurement department to add Austin Education LLC with email contact as support@austineducationllc.com . Once your procurement department reaches out with new vendor registration information we can proceed from there.

Our school is tight on funds. How can the cost be reduced?

Accepted Answer

The best way to reduce the cost is to share the kit between two or more schools! This greatly reduces the cost and each school can have a copy of the Teacher's Guide / downloadable resources and hand off the physical kit when needed. The kit is not a mass produced item, is over 95% by weight made in the USA, and each kit is hand assembled and tested in the Space Coast region. Few other products offer a product with a 2 year warranty, free shipping, and are built to last decades with a lifetime subscription to updates of the one-of-a-kind Teacher's Guide. Austin Education LLC will make every attempt to keep the cost fixed regardless of inflation over the next several years to keep the cost down for schools.

Are there discounts for purchasing multiple kits?

Absolutely! The first 5 schools will receive a 10% discount on the kit. If your school requires multiple kits you can save more based on the quantity purchased. The following shows the savings.

Total cost shown does not include taxes. There is a $10% discount for the first 5 schools to purchase a kit.

Question 5

Can the Teacher's Guide be purchased separately?

Accepted Answer

The Teacher's Guide may be purchased independent of the kit (PDF download) for $100 and is available only to current and verified teachers (including those homeschooling). The password will be emailed to you or provided by phone if desired. All other files will be available for download also. If purchasing the Vacuum Cannon Kit there is no need to purchase the Teacher's Guide separately as it included as part of the package.

Question 6

We lost one of the small pieces of the Vacuum Cannon, how can we get another?

No worries! Some of the components that might get lost are listed in the User Manual along with part numbers from various manufacturers. If something has been lost that isn't included in the User Manual, please send an email to support@austineducationllc.com and place "Lost Part" or similar into the subject line. If it isn't a component that can be easily found we'll work on getting you a replacement.

Question 7

Can we purchase additional components of the Vacuum Cannon?

Additional components like projectiles, threaded weights etc. may be purchased by sending an email to
support@austineducationllc.com. Future updates to the site may be added so this is an option integrated into site. If your school is interesting in making your own projectiles, there is a section in the User Manual that shows the materials, dimensions, and additional information about this.

If we choose the "Local Pickup" option instead of shipping, where do we pick it up?

You will be contacted by Austin Education LLC for info on picking up your Vacuum Cannon kit to save on shipping costs. Be sure to leave a contact number when creating the account from which the purchase is made.
