This is the complete Vacuum Cannon kit as detailed in the PDF brochure for a short term rental of 5 weeks minimum. Please select the rental option to the right. Rental Policy
- By purchasing the rental option of the Vacuum Cannon kit, the buyer, school, procurement department or organization agrees to return the item in the original case using the provided prepaid shipping label. The item must be handed off to the shipping company by the agreed upon date. Updated tracking information by the shipping company shall serve as documentation of handing the kit off by the agreed upon date.
- To reduce costs further, a local pickup option is available and the kit may be picked up and returned in person from Austin Education LLC at an agreed upon location and time. Note that the kits are produced in Titusville, FL.
- The 5 week rental period starts the first Monday following the week in which the kit is delivered/received by the school. For example, if the kit is purchased and is shipped out from Austin Education LLC on a Wednesday, and the kit is delivered to the school on Monday, the 5 week rental period starts the following Monday, effectively giving 6 total weeks.
- If more time is required, the rental can be extended for $50 per week. Please reach out support@austineducationllc.com for a custom quote.
- The used kit received will contain normal wear and tear marks and is fully tested prior to shipping out. A pre-shipment image is retained for records.
- The cardboard boxes shipped with the kit are considered consumables and are not required for return. However, please only use the number of boxes as required and leave unused boxes in the kit. The tape is considered consumable and shall only be used as needed for using the Vacuum Cannon kit. Unused tape shall be returned with the kit.
- In the case of damage due to misuse, the buyer, school, procurement department or organization shall be responsible for the cost of repairing only the damaged components. The buyer, school, procurement department or organization shall not be held liable for any damage or loss of package caused by the shipping company.
- Rental insurance may be purchased using the drop down menu for an additional $25. The rental insurance covers replacing damaged components up to a total of $400.
- In the event that the Vacuum Cannon is lost after delivery confirmation (or hand off for the local pickup option) or before handing off to the shipping company (or returning in person to Austin Education LLC for the local pickup option), the buyer, school, procurement department or organization shall be responsible for the entire cost of the kit, less the amount already paid for the rental period. For example, if the rental option is chosen totaling $250, and the kit is lost, the buyer, school, procurement department or organization shall be required to pay $1,500 - 250 = $1,250.
- Minor cosmetic dings, scratches, etc. shall not be considered damage.
- Access to the Teacher's Guide and all downloadable resources, including future updates, are retained indefinitely. The Use Policy of the Teacher's Guide shall be adhered to, as is signed by the account holder on this website, www.austineducationllc.com.
